The late CoCo Chanel once said "a woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life" and we've seen it happen countless times. Taking a page from Bernadine's chapter in "Waiting to Exhale", Tamar Braxton is the newest member of the Natural Hair Club!
In true Tamar fashion the songbird posted a video on social media sitting in the Barber's chair with the caption "✂️ finally free". Ironically enough while she's getting her hair buzzed you can hear Bobby Brown's "My Perogative" playing loudly. Is TayTay trying to tell us something?
After the scalping Tamar posted the following photo with the caption:
"Im over feeling captive to a wig, weave, people, people’s comments & opinions hell...even my OWN feelings! WE can choose to stop these things from having the power and victory over us!! And for me, that starts TODAY 🤸🏾♀️ #happysttamarsday 🍀"
I think she looks adorable but her son, Logan, thought she looked a little too masculine. Check out the video where he tells his mom "hell to the naw" and then calls her "Mr. Mommy".
